Objective:To successfully onboard the client’s inventory and establish a robust warehouse and distribution operation within a six-week timeline while meeting the client’s complex logistical and technological requirements.

1. Project Management Plan:
MMTPS developed a detailed six-week project management plan, outlining every step of the onboarding process to ensure a seamless transition. We assigned a dedicated project manager to oversee the process and coordinate between the client, MMTPS staff, and transportation providers.

Inventory Onboarding and Storage Solutions:MMTPS conducted a comprehensive assessment of the 1,500+ SKUs to categorize and determine the appropriate storage solutions and implmented a combination of floor storage for oversized crates, rack storage for medium-sized items, and bin storage for small items like envelopes.
3. API Integration with Transportation Providers: MMTPS collaborated with the client and their transportation providers to design and develop a custom API interface. We integrated the API into MMTPS’s warehouse management system (WMS) to enable real-time tracking, streamlined shipping, and automated data exchange with carriers. 4. Training and Operational Setup:MMTPS trained warehouse staff on handling and managing the client’s diverse inventory, ensuring that proper procedures were followed for each SKU type and established operational workflows to handle inbound and outbound shipments efficiently, minimizing delays and errors.
5. Final Implementation and Go-Live:MMTPS completed the onboarding process on schedule, ensuring all inventory was properly stored, labeled, and accounted for and conducted a go-live test to validate the API integration and ensure smooth communication with transportation providers.
